Postpartum Doula Services

Do you have actual help after birth or just visitors?

After months of planning, hours of labor and birthing your tiny human, you will have a sea of family and friends itching to meet your new little one. Will they be coming to shower baby with cuddles and love or to help support mom and dad during this new transition?

If you are unsure how much help you will actually have after baby arrives, a postpartum doula is just what you need. Doula comes from the Greek word meaning “woman’s servant”. Having an experienced set of hands during your postpartum period is invaluable. Allow us the honor of working along side of you those first few months postpartum.

“Birth Matters… It matters because it is the way we all begin our lives outside of our source, our mother’s bodies. It’s the means from which we enter and feel our first impression of the wider world. For each mother, it is an event that shakes and shapes her to her innermost core. Women’s perceptions about their bodies and their babies’ capabilities will be deeply influenced by the care they receive around the time of birth.”

Baby/Infant Food Making Consult: $100

Your pediatrician has given you the green light to start baby on solids. This can often come with loads of questions for new parents. How do I know baby is ready to try solids? Do I start with puree or go straight to baby led weaning? What is baby led weaning? How do I know if I am feeding them too little/too much? What do I feed baby?

With over 10 years of experience making both purees and solids for friends and former nanny kids, I have discovered some tried and true recipes, meal guides, and insights on how to transition to solids, when to introduce certain foods, and how to keep baby engaged in eating as they grow.

Option 1:

Starting purees (for parents with babies age 4-7 months)

Option 2:

First finger foods & solids (for parents with babies 6+ months ready to try solids)

What’s included:

3 hour consult

Recipes

Let me help you navigate your baby’s sleep needs with a blend of tips and techniques that will work for your individual family situation.  Because no two babies nor families are identical — no two sleep solutions are identical either.
